Another great cover Jon. Bravo man. Never stop
Hey man, this is amazing. My grandmas brother died before I was born, but he'd sing this on guitar and harmonica just like you. Thank you for giving nostalgic vibes. I love this country!

Keep these lessons coming Bro as you deserve many more likes than you have. I am now a FAN.
This Video is very helpful. So good that you made me order your Country & Blues Harmonica for the Musically Hopeless book! Thanks Jon!
Hall of Fame video, with all the shit going on in the world today, you have your sanity sanctuary with great love for people and good music. Cheers and Merry X-Mas to you and your loved ones, and many more years of playing, teaching and loving audiences around you!
Thanks Jon! Your lessons are such a great help to getting to the next level! Perfect thing to practice when it's -40 up in Canada 👍
Thanks Jon - Great Lesson! An easy to understand way to build a riff foundation!
Most ppl have no clue how hard it is to hit and hold those bends with his precision.
This is gold. Absolute gold.
You're a gifted teacher and a beautiful harmonica player
Brilliant, thanks!
Cool alright jon your the best, i like your video, its a good one.
My introduction to harmonica was with Jon's "Rock n Blues harmonica" and accompanied CD 10 years ago. And I've never looked back. I now play on an advanced level. Work with it several hours a day and it brings me so much joy.
Wow. What a lesson I've got today! Thank you so much.
Thanks Jon
Really helpful teaching, thank you. And amazing track - I was Born to Wail. All great stuff.
I think you are one of the best teachers of the harmonica. I have been following you for years. I started out U blocking and you told me to try to learn to pucker. So I did and later I took up some tongue blocking too. These days I use all 3 embouchures, pucker U blocking and some tongue blocking. It just depends on what I feel works best at the time. I think you show the student that simple riffs can be amazing and I love that. This video was proof of that. I look forward to the next video Jon. Keep them coming. I, Tony Stephens will be watching and learning 👍
I’ve turned to a lot of harmonica players and teachers on UA-cam for a number of years, when I’ve wanted to learn something new that they’re teaching. But when it comes to technique and the core basics - which I like to revisit very regularly - I always come back to Jon Gindick’s teachings. It’s always a good way of reminding one’s self of the essentials, very well taught and entertaining at the same time. I always find Jon to be the most relaxed teacher, making sure that having fun with the harmonica is always key. And if I’m having a tough time learning something new or mastering a new technique, it’s great to go back to the way I felt when I started learning from Jon’s book and cassette over 25 years ago. I started playing in earnest around 1996/7 but dropped off by about 2003/ when I started having a family and my time priorities changed. But when Covid broke out in 2020 and I had time on my hands, I found this channel and it was thanks to Jon that my interest fired up again, and I’ve not stopped since. The fact that I’m still playing now, the way I learn new things and the way in which I play are all things I owe to Jon Gindick. I live a long way off in England and have never met the man, but I wish I could just shake him by the hand to say thank you.
I'm new to the harp and I've been struggling to bend the third hole for a couple of weeks. After countless videos, I finally "got it" after watching this one. It is by far the best of any and the "kee koo" tip is what did it for me. Jon makes learning it extremely fun and, even though I can't play a lick, he had me jamming along like a pro, just keein' and kooin'. 🤣
Stay tooned!
Nice!!
Cool alright
So smooth!
❤👏👏👏👏👏👏❤🤩🤩🤩🤩very good ❤
Bonne création.🙏👍
So much lives in your Good Morning riff. ❤
Thanks again for a soulful lesson ❤
❤🤙🤙🤙🤙❤thanks🤩🤩🤩❤
Your lessons are so good. Thank you Jon, you truly inspire me to play. I have been watching your videos for at least 12 years now and I have 3 of your books. Please keep the videos coming.
Thanks Jon, even after 3 harmonica jam camps with you still provide the tools that keeps me going !
Your neighbourhood looks great Jon. Trying to play along now on my low D.
Simply .. Awesome!
Thanks for this video. I really enjoyed it and, believe it or not, I’ve never learned a Christmas song on the harmonica before. That has now changed! Love you Jon. It was your book that taught me the foundations I needed over 20 years ago. And when I’d been away from harmonica for such a long time, it was the discovery of this channel in 2020 that brought me back. I’m the harmonica player I am today because of you (whether that’s a compliment or not depends on what people think of my playing I guess!) UA-cam just sent me a breakdown of the music I listened to in 2024. My top artist for 2024 was Will Wilde, a fantastic harmonica player I found out about this year. But number 4 in my list was was Jon Gindick! My most listened to track from 2024 was ‘Miss You’ by the Rolling Stones, mainly because I was learning how to play Sugar Blue’s harmonica part. Second was ‘Stone Fox Chase’ by Area Code 615 because I was learning Charlie McCoy’s harmonica from that. But in at number 3, right up there with the greats, was ‘Don’t Sneeze In My Face, Grace’ by Jon Gindick! It made me smile during the covid lockdown, and still makes me smile now. I’d love to attend one if your band camps, but living in the U.K. with family responsibilities makes this impossible. So I will keep tuning in to your channel instead. I hope your Christmas is a happy one and not blue at all, except (of course) in terms of your harmonica!
Love this JON!! What a wonderful video memory!! 🥰
Good morning John,Rodney from Va. I so excited about Little Wing video coming up.The artist I was learning by ear from was Martin Chemes,he played the heck out that song,to many reed adjustments for me,not there yet but had a blast learning some of it tough.Enjoy your day my friend.🎶🇺🇸
ua-cam.com/video/VT-JobqQ6Ec/v-deo.html
@ thank you, never knew. I saw your comment on the Chemes comment awhile back and if Mr.Gindick complemented Martin you know it had to be good. I am going to play with it by ear first and work for it.Heck John I’m 67 and like old school first. Thanks again and will wait for the other in a couple days.
❤🤩🤩🤩❤
Thank you for all your teachings Mr.Gindick, with or without tabs. I enjoy playing by ear but sometimes I do need a little help. Will you one day teach Little Wing by Jimmy Hendrix.?
hi--thanks. if you havent yet, please subscribe tome free newsletter. The tab is in issue 5 which will come out in a few days. Good idea to tab Little Wing.
@ yes Mr.Gindick I have already subscribed a week or so ago. I learned a lot of it by ear from another player but he has a customized reeds and that’s out of my league (for now.)Having fun learning Mr.Gindick.
